GOD NEVER GOT TENURE BECAUSE
1. He had only one major publication
2. It was in Hebrew
3. It had no references
4. It wasn't published in a refereed journal
5. Some even doubt he wrote it himself
6. It may be true that he created the world, but what has he done since
then?
7. His cooperative efforts have been quite limited
8. The scientific community has had a hard time replicating his results
9. He never applied to the Ethics Board for permission to use human
subjects
10. When subjects didn't behave as predicted, he deleted them from the
sample
11. He rarely came to class, just told his students to read the Book
12. Some say he had his son teach the class
13. He expelled his first two students for learning
14. Although there were only ten requirements, most students failed his
tests
15. His office hours were infrequent and usually held on a mountaintop.
Το σημερινό ανέκδοτο δεν είναι "God vs the beast", διότι αν σας πω την
άποψή μου γι' αυτά που κυκλοφορούν αυτές τις μέρες στο δίκτυο, θα με κόψει
η λογοκρισία. Αν μου το επιτρέπει ο Αλκιβιάδης από το ΑΠΘ, θα σας
παραπέμψω στο δικό του μήνυμα και θα σχολιάσω ότι και προγραμματιστής να
μην είσαι, απλός παίκτης κάποιων παιχνιδιών να είσαι, έχεις συνηθίσει το
Hall of Fame, και έτσι το Hall of Tortured Soles θα σου φανεί πολύ λογικό
για τους ανθρώπους που "σχεδίασαν" το Excel.
Επειδή λοιπόν φαντάζομαι ότι οι περισσότεροι της παρέας μας είναι φοιτητές
ή υποψήφιοι PhD και των σχετικών, γι' αυτό το σημερινό ανέκδοτο. Για να
προσέχουν τις δημοσιεύσεις τους, τις ώρες και τους χώρους διδασκαλίας τους,
κι επειδή το αγαπημένο μου από τα παραπάνω 15 είναι το #13 -να προσέξουν τι
αντιδράσεις προκαλεί Η ΓΝΩΣΗ στην όποια εξουσία.
